Our Core Values

What is most important to us (our core values)?

We seek to be a worshipping community of mature disciples founded on the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

• The Word of God: We believe that the 66 books of the Christian Bible faithfully tell the objective truth about God and His world, including the people who live upon it. Therefore, every thing we do as individuals and as a corporate body must be measured against the commands and promises found in the Bible. At NCPC, the Bible is the authoritative rule for everything we do.
• The Gospel of Jesus Christ: We believe that the Bible tells the true story of man’s rebellion against God and God’s gracious rescue of those who accept Jesus as the ruler of their lives. This rescue is really good news for a people who have done nothing to deserve it. Gospel (which simply means “good news”) is a word Christians use to summarize all that God has done in Jesus. Therefore, every thing we do as individuals and as a corporate body must be characterized by both the message of the Gospel and the loving and gracious manner in which it has come to us.
