Wondering where to get started? Following are five key steps toward making a meaningful connection to the body of Christ at New Covenant. For more information on any of these steps, call the church office 649-5007 or email us at info@ncpcaiken.org.
We would love to meet you and have the opportunity to learn how we can serve you. Each week a greeter will be available to help you get acquainted with our people and our activities. On your first visit, please fill out a “Welcome” card and return it to the greeter who meets you. There is also an information “tear-off” in the bulletin we use during our worship service. You can simply drop it in the offering plate or give it to an usher.
There are a number of ways to get involved at NCPC. We invite you to visit any of these to find the one(s) that best fits your particular interest and needs. To help you get started, a brief description of these opportunities can be found on our Ministries page.
Meeting times and locations are on the church’s web-based calendar. If you would like more information on any of these activities, please contact any of the ministry leaders listed or call us at the church office. We’d love to talk with you.
The Discovery Weekend is for those interested in learning more about NCPC: who we are, what we believe, our church programs, ministries, and church contacts. Discovery Weekends are offered several times during the year and are a prerequisite for church membership. Our next Discovery Weekend is March 26 & 27, 2010. The schedule includes a Friday evening dessert fellowship followed by a Saturday morning journey through NCPC's philosophy of ministry. If you are interested in joining or simply desire to know more about us, here's a great place to begin. If you plan to attend, please e-mail our office (info@ncpcaiken.org) or call 649-5007.
God has gifted his people for service in his kingdom. Find a ministry that “fits” your gifts and serves others. The Discovery Class and Membership Class will help you do this and our Pastors are always ready to talk with you about your place in Christ's mission.
