Small Groups

Fellowship is a vital part of the Christian life. The Greek words translated "fellowship" in the New Testament mean essentially a partnership to the mutual benefit of those involved. Christian fellowship, then, is the mutually beneficial relationship between Christians. The importance of true Christian fellowship is that it helps us to focus on Christ and His desires and goals for us. As iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), in true Christian fellowship Christians sharpen one another's faith and stir one another to exercise that faith in love and good works, all to God's glory. Through fellowship we share our lives with one another — our joys and our sorrows. We learn to bear each other's burdens as we provide tangible support to one another.

Small Groups meet in order to:

  • Build relationships with one another

  • Pray for and serve one another

  • Study the Scriptures

  • Provide a means of reaching out to friends and neighbors

  • Serve the community at large

Open the Group Directory to view a list of all our groups and to find the right group for you. Just click on any of the Group Pictures to learn more about the Group. From the Group Directory you can even email leaders directly about joining their group by clicking the "Join this Group" button on the individual Group pages. Groups marked “Closed” are not open for new members at this time.

Covenant Groups

Covenant Groups are small groups of people who meet in homes throughout each month and offer several combinations of ages and life stages. Covenant Groups offer a wonderful opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus while becoming more connected to the New Covenant’s community.

Other Groups

At New Covenant we also have other groups that meet on a regular basis such as the Men's Journey Group and the Combat Veterans Support Group. From time to time Groups will be formed to provide specific training to our church officers. The Group Directory also has information on these types of Groups.
