Worship

God has created us to worship him, and through Jesus Christ we can offer him worship that pleases him. At New Covenant, we desire our worship to be, God-Centered, Gospel Focused, Biblically Based and characterized by Adoration and Joy.

God-Centered

God is the seeker of our worship and He is the audience for whom we worship. We want our worship to revolve around Him and want the fullness of His nature and the beauty of His relationship with us to be prominent as we come before Him.

Gospel Focused

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the basis for our worship. The elements of our worship are intended to re-tell the story of the gospel and are ever pointed to the grace of God in Jesus.

Biblically Based

We desire our worship to be faithful to the word of God, to the character of God, and to the gospel of Christ. Scripture directs us regarding the elements of our worship and takes precedence over personal opinions about worship and traditions in worship (old or new).

Adoration and Joy

Adoration and joy stem from awe-filled wonder at the nature of who God is and the joy that stems from the relationship we have with him. God is holy and pure. Yet God has loved us with an everlasting love and is intimately involved in the details of our lives as His people.

Childcare is available during the entire service for infants and toddlers (0-3) in room 105.  We offer Children’s Church (ages 4  - 2nd grade) for kids who aren’t yet ready to sit through the sermon (begin worship together; during the Song of Preparation, you may be dismissed to take your children downstairs for a lesson).
